UPDATE Aug 30, 2012. Consider updating your Optimus One with CyanogenMod — CM7 or CM9. LG Optimus One, P500, V in xda-developers. Original CM ROMs for Optimus One.
Before updating I set Screen timeout to 30 minutes (under Settings – Display – Screen timeout), to prevent accidental bricking of phone, read more 1, read more 2.
The update V10F is the same Android 2.2.1 version like V10C, but with some issues fixed, like Touch responsiveness.
Notes:
- LG PC Suite must be run under administrator account to perform software update;
- LG software multiple times warns you, that data and apps may/will be deleted: screen1, screen2, however this is not true for updating from V10C to V10F;
- At one point LGMobile Support Tool froze, so I started all process over;
- At one point Phone showed ‘Emergency Mode!!’ screen;
- At the end, when update is complete, Phone was turned off, and I needed to turn it on manually; Meanwhile, software warned to not touch the Phone;
- Also, at the end it shows unnecessary question, like there is more to do?!
- It took much more time than usual, when I turned on Phone for the first time after update.
